Simple But Magic Working Traffic Generator
This baby has been on my whiteboard for some time now.
Now it is in your hands.
Odds are since you are reading this you have either very little traffic or have never been able to get any at all.
THAT IS 100% OK!
I hear the term 'just throw some traffic at an offer and see if it converts' used all the time.
That is like telling your kid, run down to the store and pick up some milk. Use the car, it will be faster.
Forgetting your kid doesn't even know how to drive.
Here is another thing I hear all the time.
“You can't make money off of YOUR interests. It has to be a niche where the money is at.”
I beg to differ.
ANYTHING can be monetized.
(more on that in a bit...)
You will have 3 steps.
Do each of them in order and you will have traffic an ANY niche you so desire.
Step #1
Write down 5 things you personally enjoy doing or are knowledgeable in.
Basically 5 things that if you were to work in that niche it wouldn't seem like work because it was something that you already enjoyed.
Got your 5?
Now pick your favorite.
That is task #1.
“WHAT?”
That's it for #1?
Yep.
Simple works.
EVERY TIME.
Step #2
Head over to Google and type in this – your niche + forums
(I just gave you a HUGE niche by the way ;)
Find 5 different forums in your niche that you picked.
Look through them and make sure there is daily activity on the forums and whether other posts have signatures WITH links in them.
If they do, pick the best two, sign up and start answering questions.
Don't put anything in your signature except for maybe a related quote to your niche.
NO LINKS... yet.
Now what I want you to do is spend 15 minutes a day on each forum answering questions.
That is a total of 2.5 hours for the first week. (just 5 days)
That's it.
Now I already know what is going through your head right now.
“I just wasted a week commenting with no links to anything and am still where I started.”
NOT BY A LONG SHOT.
There is a reason you are doing this...
Step #3
Week two has started now.
Look back at what you commented on.
Did you enjoy the interaction?
If no, then you picked the wrong niche out of the 5 you started with.
Now you aren't stuck in a niche where you have no interest.
Go to another one on your original list.
Now if you DID enjoy commenting, look at the specific type of comments that were easiest for you to answer.
You now know what niche you want to be in, and even what area of the niche that you want to enter in to. I'm not one for sappy quotes (well, actually I am), so here is a great one
This is the purpose of getting into a niche where you enjoy yourself. Even though it may not be popular opinion, go into a niche you ENJOY or you will quit before you are even started.
Ok, so now you have the sub-niche inside your broad niche.
Now it is time to decide what kind of link you want to have in your signature.
You will need to look at the other signatures in the forum to see what is allowed and what isn't and BE SURE to read over their Terms of Service for having a link in your signature.
Look at what other people have in their signatures.
Mimic what works. Don't just directly copy them, but don't re-invent the wheel.
Look at the top commenters.
Now look at what they are linking to in their signatures.
If they are doing it, boom. You have a model to follow.
So where do you go from here?
Comment daily.
Make it a routine.
Within no time at all, you will be having conversations with others in your niche, with every comment you make linking back to YOUR site with YOUR affiliate links.
Bingo, presto, you are now making sales.
WHOA.
“This is supposed to be difficult!”
Why?
Just because it you see all these success stories you feel you are not a part of?
Guess what?
If you get one visitor to your site from one of your comments on a forum thread, you are already successful.
All you need to do is scale up your commenting, go to related forums and in no time at all, your actual interests have become what is paying your bills.
Guess what we just did?
Simplified rocket science.
So here is what you do.
#1 – Pick your niche
#2 – Comment for 5 days
#3 – Add a link in your signature
That's it.
Do these for a while until you get comfortable with a small taste of success.
Get commenting.
30 minutes a day is no time at all for consistent targeted traffic to your site.
It really doesn't have to be any more difficult than this.
Get a taste of success, especially in a niche you love and you no longer have a job, no longer are broke and can actually enjoy your time online!
